About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Rachel, and I am an elementary general and vocal music teacher in South Florida. I have my Bachelor's from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and I am an Orff Level 1 certified teacher.
My philosophy of teaching is that within every child there is an innate musical ability waiting to shine through. I have seen firsthand how musical elementary students can be. I started my career in the summer of 2017, and I have been developing my craft ever since. I strive to constantly be honing my musicianship and learning from my fellow music educators.
Outside of my job, I run a Teachers Pay Teachers store as well as my own private studio for voice, beginning piano, and music theory lessons.
It is my hope that from this blog I can share my perspective as an elementary music teacher and learn from the numerous other music teachers out there!
